The Era of the Gentleman has officially ended and chivalry is dead. The men in today's society no longer value women as their predecessors did. It's a strange and hurtful thing to say but it's true. Here is a prime example: The Elusive Dating Site. A man generally joins a dating site for "friendship then maybe more". Women are more upfront about their reasons for joining the site and what they want. They take their time filling out the profile information and even completing the compatibility questions.
